Rules & Code of Conduct
1. PURPOSE & PHILOSOPHY
Alaska Motorcycle Roadracing exists to promote safe, fair, and competitive motorcycle roadracing while
fostering sportsmanship, skill development, and community. Safety overrides competition at all times.
2. APPLICABILITY
These rules apply to riders, crew, officials, volunteers, and spectators in restricted areas. Participation
constitutes agreement to abide by all rules and official decisions.
3. RIDER CONDUCT (ON-TRACK)
Riders must ride predictably, respect others, and avoid reckless behavior. Clean racing is required.
Passing:
– Overtaking rider is responsible for a safe pass
– No contact or dive-bombing
– Must allow racing room
4. FLAGS & SIGNALS
Yellow – Hazard,
Waving yellow -Slow down, crash
Red- Crash on track, slow down, do not stop, exit track at pit entrance.
5. PIT & PADDOCK
– Speed limits enforced
– No reckless riding
– No alcohol during track hours
– Riders responsible for crew
6. SPORTSMANSHIP Respect all participants. No harassment or confrontation.
7. OFFICIAL AUTHORITY
Race Director decisions are final. Safety overrides competition.
8. PENALTIES
May include warnings, grid penalties, disqualification, or suspension.
9. PROTESTS
Must be submitted respectfully. No public disputes.
10. SAFETY STANDARDS
Proper gear and safe motorcycles required.
11. WEATHER
Events may be altered due to conditions.
12. DRUGS & ALCOHOL
Zero tolerance while riding.
13. SOCIAL MEDIA
No public harassment or defamation.
14. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF RISK
All participants accept inherent risks.
